What is Alpha?

Alpha is about finding out for yourself. It is a programme of thirteen evenings designed to give you the chance to get to grips with the basic issues of the Christian faith - in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with plenty of opportunity to raise any questions you may have.

What's involved?

Each session will take place at Action Sports Centre, Whitchurch. There will be some initial teaching time, followed by small group discussion.

Each session will finish no later than 9.30pm. Attending Alpha does not require attendance at a church, nor will there be pressure to respond.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for anyone who wants to find out more about the basics of the Christian faith and its relevance for today.

Particularly, it caters for:

• People wanting to investigate Christianity
• New Christians
• Those attending a church who feel there is mroe to the Christian life than they have experienced
• Those who want to brush up on the basics
